Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish because of their fondness for lists. =) They love to share their lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see other’s top ten lists! Each week, they will post a new Top Ten list and everyone is welcome to join. Please link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists.
Top Ten Books We Think Would Make Great Book Club Picks
Okay so for whatever reason this question was super hard for us to answer. So we joined forces and came up with a joint list of books we thought would make good book club picks. Here goes…

“We're gonna skate to one song, and one song only: "Lady Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas. What you gonna do with all that junk / All that junk inside my trunk? / I'm gonna get you, get you drunk / Get you drunk off my lady humps / My humps, my humps, my lovely lady humps”

The Plinky Question of the Day is a weekly feature I added to the blog to get to know you guys better and vice versa. Sometimes the questions will deal with books or reading but, most of the time they won’t. Because, let’s face it, there’s more to us than what we read.
Name a board game that you'll never get tired of.
I’m a huge proponent of game nights. They bring friends and family together and fun times are always had. Unless, people get hyper-competitive but, that’s a whole other issue. Anywhoozle, if I had asked myself this question three months ago I would’ve said..
Charades, Name That Tune, Pictionary, Multiple Choice and Word Games all mixed into one box?! What’s not to love?!
Then a few us got together for a girls’ night/Christmas party/gift exchange shindig and Ash brought along…
Everything Cranium is plus added randomness.
Sorry Cranium. I think I’m in love with someone else. Seriously guys, if you haven’t given this board game a try you are totally missing out on some serious fun.
What are some board games you guys never get tired of?

This is another new feature I decided to add to the blog this year. It’s hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and it’s ultimate goal is to help other readers discover books that they might not have noticed before. For a full break down of how the meme works please click HERE or on the button above.
My first entry into the Daring You to Read arena is going to be Kim Harrison’s Dead Witch Walking, book one in the Hollows series. This series sits in the number 1 spot of my all time favorite series list. Mrs. Harrison has managed to create a story with amazing characters, incredible world building and storylines that’ll leave you emotionally and physically exhausted….in a really, really good way. So do yourselves a favor and go pick up a copy of Dead Witch Walking. I promise you’ll be hooked within the first few pages.
The underground population of witches, vampires, werewolves—creatures of dreams and nightmares—has lived beside humans for centuries, hiding their powers. But after a genetically engineered virus wipes out a large part of humanity, many of the "Inderlanders" reveal themselves, changing everything.
Rachel Morgan, witch and bounty hunter with the Inderland Runner Services, is one of the best at apprehending supernatural lawbreakers throughout Cincinnati, but when it comes to following the rules, she falls desperately short. Determined to buck the system, she quits and takes off on the run with an I.S. contract on her head and is reluctantly forced to team up with Ivy, Inderland's best runner . . . and a living vampire. But this witch is way out of her league, and to clear her name, Rachel must evade shape-changing assassins, outwit a powerful businessman/crime lord, and survive a vicious underground fight-to-the-death . . . not to mention her own roommate.
Not completely sold? Check out what my friend Smash Attack Ash had to say about the series.
