I suck at About Me sections so I'll keep it short and sweet. I needed a place for my book recommendations and zany thoughts so I figured why not start this here blog. Nothing like a creative outlet to keep you out of trouble, right? Aside from my zany thoughts on books, you'll also find commentary on TV shows, movies and music. Just a heads up...it'll probably be random, out of left field type commentary because around these here parts random is the name of the game. Thanks for stoppin' by our humble little abode. I hope you enjoy your visit!

I'm in my mid-thirties. I'm a wife, mother of two and support staff to one ugly cat. I reside in the foothills of California. I rather read and blog than watch TV. My love for books started in high school when I picked up Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. These days my favorite genes are Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, YA, Indie and Steam Punk. There's nothing I won't read. I take that back. I won't read a stereo manual. That's just torture. Aside from reading, I'm also going to add Starbucks, Walk It Out on the Wii, Coke Slushies and Big Foot shows to my list of addictions. Hey..don't judge me! Favorite authors include Kresley Cole, Jennifer Estep, Clay and Susan Griffith, Simone Elkeles and Rachel Vincent...just to name a few.

Hi Everyone! Let’s see where to begin… I'm heading into my thirties, am married and (according to my husband) have a co-dependent relationship with my dog Marley. My love for reading took off after reading Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss. From there it really did become an addiction. My husband recently purchased me a Kindle (more than likely due to lack of book storage space) and can’t figure out why I’m ignoring him all of a sudden. I wish I could say that I stick to one particular genre but the truth is if the summary can hook me I’ll read pretty much anything. I teach fifth graders and every situation in and out of the classroom can be described in one movie quote. The kids get a kick out of it. I hope you have as much fun reading them as I do writing them.
